Located in Xinjin Industrial Park, Chengdu Sechin Advanced Material Science & Technology Co., Ltd. (referred to “Chengdu Sechin” hereafter) was founded in 2016 with registered capital of RMB 70 million. As a new material company integrating R&D, manufacturing and sales, Chengdu Sechin is specialized in PBO filament, chopped fiber, staple fiber, and pulp manufacturing.

Thanks to Sichuan Strategic Project Industry policy, in-depth research in fiber manufacturing technology, as well as long-term experience, Chengdu Sechin has established the first commercial continuous PBO manufacturing process in China.

With a number of invention patents and this one and only 380tpa PBO manufacturing stream, Chengdu Sechin is one of the world-class enterprises in high performance fiber industry.

FENGDE WANG

General Manager and Chief Technology Officer

Mr. Wang Fengde is a Chinese Communist Party member, a senior professor, and a Ph.D. degree holder, and had received Special Expert Allowance by State Council. Meanwhile, he had assumed Chief of China National Plastic Engineering Technology Research Center for Stressed Structure Engineering, Vice Chairman of Thermosetting Branch of China National Technical Committee for Standardization of Plastics Products, International Organization for Standardization, Chief of Sichuan High-tech Fiber Key Laboratory, Academic and Technical Leader in Sichuan (10th batch), Chief of Sichuan Chemical Fibers Association.

Long engaged in the research and development of special fibers, Mr. Wang Fengde has been responsible for more than 20 national key projects and military defence projects. The project Research and Application on Aramid F-3 Fiber he was in charge won Military Defence Advancement First Prize by State Administration of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defence in 2011. Besides, one of his two innovation patents won Outstanding National Patents Award by China National Intellectual Property Administration in 2012 and 2016 respectively. He also won the Innovation Award by the fourth Houdebang Chemical Science and Technology Award. In 2012, he won Advanced Individual of military capability construction by State Administration of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defence. In the field of special fiber, he has obtained more than 10 scientific research achievements, of which 6 won ministerial and provincial awards. Wang Fengde has applied over 30 patents for invention so far and 25 were authorized. In addition, he has published over 20 research papers at home and abroad.

2020　Commissioning started, product finalized and sold in one year. The trademark “Chengdu Sechin” and logo registered. Received certifications for ISO9001 Quality Management System and “Chengdu New Material Enterprise ”.

2019　Both manufacturing streams completed and civil construction quality accepted. Manufacturing process optimized. Received Top 10 Construction Projects Award and Top Ten Talent Introduction Enterprises Award by local government.

2018　Civil construction completed, manufacturing process finalized, domestic stream completed as well. Received financial subsidy from Sichuan Emerging Industry and Advanced Growth Industry Project and Science and Technology Support Project by Science and Technology Department of Sichuan Province.

2017　Civil construction started.

2016　Company registered and established.
